Exact conformance with the agreed and specified qualities of the steel tubes is of the highest priority. To this

Acceptance of our quality management system and quality assurance system by our employees is of fundamental importance. All employees of Rohrwerk Maxhütte GmbH affirm our quality management system and actively support the quality assurance actions required to effectively ensure and continuously improve the quality of our tubes.

The primary focus is on the systematic planning of our production processes, and in particular, all quality-relevant activities. To safeguard our production processes and the qualitative monitoring of the finished tubes, all work processes are contained in precise job instructions which are carefully implemented by the employees responsible. Precisely-defined monitoring and control measures at the same time ensure that fault detection and prevention occur in a timely fashion.

ISO 9001:2008 certification of the quality management system employed by Rohrwerk Maxhütte GmbH ensures the standardized manufacture of seamless steel tubes which conforms with all quality-relevant standards and customer-specific requirements. Additional certifi cations by American Petroleum Institute, Lloyds Register, and Germanisch Lloyd, to name only a few, confirm the high quality of our steel tubes.

The top priority of our entire firm centers on achieving the satisfaction and meeting the specific requirements of our customers. Our associates in sales and distribution learn the needs of the customer, then incorporate these into corporate planning. Application-oriented consultations with customers are conducted jointly by sales associates and the staff of the engineering departments so as to be able to meet the needs and requirements of the customer in the most optimal fashion.

The targeted development of product is advanced continuously and the result are steel tubes which are tailored to the needs of the customer. Development is effected in close collaboration with the customer to achieve the optimum steel tube product for the customer. Specifications for new products are established only after consultation with the customer and only after receiving approval from the sales, production, quality control and assurance departments; the new standard product is then released and included in the sales program.

Quality assurance measures are reviewed during regular internal and external audits. Trained internal auditors monitor the work to ensure it complies with the appropriate guidelines of our quality management system. Audits performed by external auditors from a variety of certification bodies serve to monitor our in-house management actions and safeguards the confidence of our customers in the effectiveness of our quality management system and in the quality of our steel tubes.
