Structural and engineering tubes are employed in a wide variety of ways in diverse segments of the industry. From the automotive industry through machine construction to the building industry – tubes from Rohrwerk Maxhütte are provided in the form of light yet strong construction elements, or also pre-machined finished components.

Low intrinsic weight and high stability even in low-temperature areas are the characterizing features of steel tubes when used as a construction component that offers high strength even under torsional and bending stresses. Rohrwerk Maxhütte’s use of innovative production techniques and alternative materials enables these to be manufactured precisely according to customer requirements. Tube blanks for cold forging and automated CNC fabrication, as well as internally and externally shaped steel tubes are fabricated according to individual specifi cations. Tubes are machined in various processing stages (cutting, machining, bending, quenching/tempering) based on customer requirements, then supplied by Rohrwerk Max hütte as finished components.
